Jess’s Story

Since finishing her degree at the University of New South Wales, Jess has gained experience in both private and public settings seeing a diverse range of clients.

Jess gained experience working in a private hospital, assisting in rehabilitation post orthopaedic surgery using a combination of gym-based and hydrotherapy programs. Furthermore, Jess gained experience in private practice seeing clients with a range of conditions including Cerebral palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic lower back pain and Knee osteoarthritis.

Jess is passionate about neurological rehabilitation to improve global functioning and quality of life as well sports-specific conditioning to return clients to the sports they love with confidence.

Jess’s Approach to Exercise Physiology

Jess is an Exercise Physiologist with a background in post operative rehabilitation , chronic pain management and neurological rehabilitation.

Jess loves to play sport herself, previously playing soccer and currently swimming and hiking as often as possible. She ensures her practice is guided by evidence and stays up to date with current research while approaching sessions with compassion as a priority.

Jess ensures each client is treated as an individual with consideration of the various lifestyle and psychological factors that interplay with recovery. Her focus is to empower people through exercise and guide them towards self-management to live stronger, happier lives .

Jess prioritises collaboration with clients to develop achievable and enjoyable exercise programs specific to the activities most important to them.
